STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island Economic Development Corp. (SIEDC) recently celebrated its Annual Awards Great Gatsby Gala at the Vanderbilt in South Beach, and the styles did not disappoint with the Great Gatsby-themed attire.

Ladies donned below knee-length drop waist dresses with a loose, straight fit, glittering with beads, sequins, metallic thread, velvet, ruffled skirts and tiered layers, while some of the gents wore spiffy period suits with argyle socks and sharp headwear. There were short bobbed hairstyles with feathers galore!

There was even a “Best Dressed” contest, judged by Boutique Boutique’s owner, Terri Cote, and HGTV’s Eriv Eremita, with top honors going to AIleen Fuchs, CEO of Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Livingston.
